Painted by Richard Caton Woodville II, this artwork beautifully portrays the significant event that took place at Paardeberg, South Africa. Piet Cronje was a formidable figure who had previously fought against the British in the First Boer War and emerged victorious against the Jameson raiders at Krugersdorp.
